TUESDAY BRIEFING

ALL glory to God in Jesus Name!
May God reveal Himself to you in new ways.

COMPLETED
1. Again thanking God for making financial provision for rent and other needs.
2. Cleared out large closet where I had dumped various boxes when I moved. Much was put into order. A heap was put into the trash. Some of the trash was notes that were literally getting yellow with age.
3. Head way in making home office much more functional. Cleared off horizontal surfaces for projects instead of storage. Only two small piles remain to be sorted. Thanks for your prayers. This is the neatest my office has ever been.
4. Recognized that I love to use large flat surfaces for projects. Hope that I get into the habit of picking up after done so have clear space. Beginning to ask for prayers for drafting table. God will provide the right one in His time.
5. Concluded that the heart of the slow DSL connection is the old computer. Beginning to ask for prayers for next desktop computer. Need a PC and not a MAC - new or slightly used. Can start with basic software. Maybe someone will give or loan. Maybe raise money for new one.
6. Besides getting organized I also invested 6 hours last week toward the presentation. The goal was 5 hours. This week the goal is 10 hours and next week the goal is 15 hours.
7. I have been in the habit of investing 3 hours a week improving the home office. Also I have been investing 2 hours a week writing the book that is in me. That book is named the Flow Chart of Biblical Christianity. This is my best understanding of this complex subject. I have work on this off and on for years. For the last two weeks I have begun to make it a habit. Usually I do this on Sunday afternoon and/or evening. Yesterday I focused on the introduction and initial pages. What I am writing on is my philosophy of ministry. Parts of this will help me to communicate more clearly over the web. The book will appear on a web site and as an eBook so that I can get feed back. Then in the fullness of time it will go into print.
CURRENT
A. Been using the car that was loaned to me for the summer. It is a white Ford Escort. Only gone to church and to 12-step meeting. Been thinking of other options. But this has not been possible for many years. Pray for me to use the vehicle wisely. Pray for my safety on the roads. And pray that the vehicle operate well. There have been irregular troubles starting.
B. Pray for the complete healing of my stomach. Maybe I had minor food poisoning or a sickness last week. Still not totally over it. May God guide me in how to pray and eat plus what over the counter medications or nutrition supplements will help.
C. There are intercessors that just want the bottom line. They do not want the story behind the need. And they may not want to have much of a testimony beside a mention that the prayer was answered. I respect these sisters and brothers. Thus I have launched a new blog that has just the products and services needed for the emerging ministry. Here is the link www.OSUwishlist.blogspot.com

UPCOMING
i. I am stuck at the same place I have been many times before. There is a service that will allow people to make financial donations over the web. It is called Amazon Honor System. It is associated with the online bookstore. I have registered with them but I have not figured out how to put the link on my web site. It cannot be too difficult, many others have done it. May God guide me to take the right steps.
ii. I felt that a car would come together soon and it did in less than a month. In a similar way I feel that I will finally be posting audio messages on the web soon. Each week I hear many testimonies that I want to share with you and others. God continues to bring gifted Bible teachers into my life. They have much to offer you and others in cyberspace. Pray for me to take the right actions in the coming weeks.
iii. Will start to meet with a few men at the end of this month to work through Rick Warren’s Purpose Driven Life. I am looking forward to this.
