TUESDAY BRIEFING
6-10-03

ALL glory to God in Jesus Name!
May you fully surrender your will to the Lord Jesus Christ DAILY.
May the Holy Spirit point you to Jesus DAILY.
May Jesus reveal God the Father to you DAILY.
Amen?

COMPLETED
1. Began a relationship with part time administrative assistant. I have seen her good work when she helped an evangelist friend. There are many details that I can delegate to her. This will help me move forward more effectively. I will be able to raise funds for the ministry including her wage. Pray for God to guide and prosper my professional relationship with Glendon.
2. Began a relationship with my second coach. Jack is also on the west coast. He was referred to me by Cathi. He will bring a different perspective and help to navigate this complex transition. Pray for God to guide and bless our relationship.
3. Last weeks goal was 10 hours and I invested 12.5. But most of that was on Saturday. I would prefer if it was more spread through the week. I invested 4 hours on writing the eBook on Sunday. The goal was only 2 hours. This was very satisfying. I will post this soon for you and others.
4. Stomach is much better thanks to answered prayers. Still tiny symptoms so I keep asking for prayer until totally gone.

CURRENT
A. I have begun to do the forth step inventory. I have done these several times before. Now is the season to flush out the junk in my soul that has tripped me up many times before.
B. I have been stumbling over the many tiny tasks that are in the computer and on the note cards. I told Cathi that I need to organize these into a PERT chart. This will help me to understand my priorities and use each day better.

UPCOMING
i. Various factors are pointing me to take my coaching practice to the next level. Soon I will be registering an assumed name, opening a bank account, launching a web site for this practice and getting business cards. Then my main client, who is a business owner, and other business owners in the future, can deduct the funds they give me from their taxes.
ii. For months I felt stuck. That had much to do with the depressions. So I bought books, I signed up for 12 step work, I enrolled more helpers and I prayed to get unstuck. Finally many of these things are coming together at the same time. I hope that I will not be overwhelmed. I need to sift through the priorities and use each day wisely. Pray for guidance.
iii. As stated before, the next huge step forward is in getting the next desktop computer. I have begun to shop for it at the Dell web site. I have been selecting the hardware. May God guide in this process. Also may the funds arrive smoothly to pay for this tool.

IMAGES
When I write about the pervious week, the seven days is compressed into a small space. It sometimes seems like I have been is a sports car moving up a mountain. Yet during the week there are long periods that it feels like I was pushing a loaded wheel barrow up hill on muddy dirt road with frequent stops.

I hope to get the desktop computer. That will free me to do much more on the web late at night when I am most creative. I hope to work well with the administrative assistant. Together these will put me in front of generous donors with coordinated follow through. That will be like piloting the Delta Flyer on Star Trek.

I will go ahead and tell you my dream here in this context. Reviewing files recently reminded me that for years my highest hope was to have a close knit staff of 6 to 8 employees. We would oversee dozens of volunteers. Together we would produce a wide range of educational and informational products that were marketing mostly over the web. For the year I volunteered at Habit for Humanity I got the feel for what a small group can do to lead many volunteers. Now that would be like becoming the captain of the star ship Enterprise. Every time I see the show I identify with the captain.
