TUESDAY BRIEFING
7-1-03

ALL glory to God in Jesus Name!
May peace be at home in your heart.
May you stop to enjoy the small blessings.
May God reveal His loving kindness to you personally.
Amen?

COMPLETED
1. THANKFULLY the air conditioning on the car is fixed and the repairs were inexpensive. I asked the mechanic to check out the vehicle and it needed brake and axle work. That is done. He recommends that I get tires soon.
2. I joined the AARP today. I became 50 years old on April the 23 thus I am now qualified to be one of the younger members of the AARP, and according to their web site they are FORMERLY known as the American Association of Retired Persons. You might ask why I did I do that. First I might gain a few discounts and recover the small membership fee... But mostly I will learn much about how to market to the seniors. They are typically the more generous donors. They have a zillion educational facets on their web site. That excites me to consider how to adapt those concepts to a much younger audience.

CURRENT
A. Still do not know about the data on the hard drive. Bill may learn something on WED 7/2
B. Shopping around for next computer. The two computers that I have cannot communicate over DSL. There is a refurbished option that is being explored. I need a few hundred dollars soon to get this bargain.
C. Staying busy but not tracking how I have been using my time. Seek to line out one hundred hours from here to launch. I know of dozens of tasks. I will organize them by 10 hours for management, 20 hours for marketing, 30 hours for administration and 40 hours for production. God inspired me with that way to plan toward balance years ago. It is tie that I use it as a general guideline.

UPCOMING
i. Soon I will be shopping for a minidisk recorder. Several times a week the Holy Spirit nudges me about the high priority of getting the testimonies, interviews and Bible teaching on the web. This will come together shortly after the next computer arrives. But I need to be led to the right device for my purposes.
ii. Find a good value on a set of tires. Discount Tires was suggested. Do you know of a better provider?
iii. Continual safety while on the road. There must be thousands of angels assigned to prevent collisions on the freeways.
iv. Need to get the auto insurance squared away on the vehicle that my friend is letting me use this summer.

IMAGES
Things are unfolding in a way that the launch of the ministry is getting closer. It is not happening in a nice neat and predictable way. It is more like a difficult birth. It may get messy before the end of this chapter.

RESOURCES
For parents and those in need of inspiration here is an organization at recognizes those who have stuck their neck out for the good of others. Often Reader’s Digest has articles about common people that have done uncommon things like this. Go to Giraffe Project to learn more about such heroes http://www.giraffe.org/heroes.html

For those more than 50 years old -- you too can join AARP www.aarp.com
