TUESDAY BRIEFING
7-15-03

COMPLETED
1. Enrolled a man for the Board of Directors. William Subash is a coworker. He has planted many churches and started a Bible training center in India. He just left today to lead a mission team for three weeks. We will incorporate Our Stewardship University when he returns.
2. Finished the fist version of the itemized wish list. Besides just the kinds of things that are needed. This list includes the exact model, price and supplier. There are a few improvements to be made to the list. And then I will post it to a blog with a link from the Tuesday Briefing next week.
3. I shared the first draft of this list today with a man that God has sued in the past to generously support the ministry. The total was $992 to buy the refurbished computer, economic monitor, softwares, voice recorder and audio web site. He is praying about it.
4. An anonymous donor gave funds for wonderful worship CDs. God is using these to help keep my mind on Him better during the day and night.
5. Gradually learning to use the lessons on the time management CDs named FOCUS. I have been doing better at filtering the many possible tasks and putting them in to relative priority. Then I do my best to work on the most to the least important. That is better than just reacting to life and never feeling like I made progress in important areas. There is still MUCH room for improvement.
6. By the grace of God I have been much more consistent with my morning quiet times. I have been gradually working through the Purpose Driven Life and a few other materials. I mark these on a white board to give visual feed back.
7. Went to a birthday party for an adult last night at Dave and Buster’s. It was delicious food and great games. That was FUN.
CURRENT
A. Working on clarifying my values and setting goals for the next 12 months. May God grant me wisdom, insight and understanding. May He anoint these key actions. I hope to put this on a blog for the Advisor Update tomorrow and your prayers by next week.
B. The data is still in limbo. Six months of work is on the hard drive of the lap top but can not be accessed YET. Bill will talk with an expert on WED. He will get the machine back to me before he goes to Russia next week. If I need to I will work my circle of contacts.
UPCOMING
i. May God provide the funds to replace all four tires. That may be about $100.
ii. Soon God will provide a computer, voice recorder and other tools. May I get my home office, files and other things in order so that when that happens I will smoothly become very productive.
