1. Thanks to answered prayers and stressful times, I have enjoyed wonderful quite times recently. I drew close to Jesus and prayed exactly what I was feeling and thinking. The Holy Sprit led me in gentle ways.
CURRENT
A. I have been in the process of shopping for a home church. I have told my close friends that this is not fun. I am not in a hurry. I will visit many churches both to better understand what is happening in DFW and to find a good fit for the next chapter of my life. Having a car has opened up many options.
B. Listing the many tasks related to working with Art and setting them into order and dividing the work load.
UPCOMING
i. My Dad said to plan your work and work your plan. I have a plan and friends to hole me accountable. Yesterday I made a commitment to accountability partners to invest 90 minutes a week to learn the money management softwares of Quicken, Quick Books online and MS Money. And I will send them a simple report each Monday by noon and a monthly budget looking backward and forward by the 5th. I will do the same for the year by January 31st. Plus I will file my income taxes on time.
ii. Later I will explain better the custom books of quotes that God is leading Art and I to publish. These are attractive coffee table books with one to three sentence quotes per page from CEOs, Civic Leader, the Predsendt and others. The funds and contacts will lead to the alunch of an innovative ministry. The preparations have been completed and the steps to sell the first custom book has begun. May God guide and bless our actions
iii. I am starting to scout around for full time and part time staff> We aim to have a few books that will become Christmas gifts.
iv. There have been many changes recently. I have been praying to discern the times and seasons. Choices and commitments need to be made. In order to choose from clarity pray for wisdom and insight about what Jesus is doing in my life during this season.
