COMPLETED
1. Piles of files went into Mind Jet. Zillions of pages were put into the computer and then the trash. Now they are in a electronic form where I can quickly get to them, see them, make changes and share them with others. It is very helpful to have these notes handy now. I did not realize how visually oriented I can be.
2. I was offered 10 day extension on the 21 day trail of Mind Jet and gladly took it. There are still many notes to be entered. And these will become presentations for fund raising in person and over the web.
3. I have begun to sync the various programs. It seems that most of them will sync with Outlook. So that is becoming my hub. That may be common to many of you bet it is new to me. I have had some crazy troubles learning how to use Outlook and sync. But it is a big improvement. Pray for guidance and grace.
4. Over the weekend I caught up on much housework. It was like a white tornado. WOW this place is much cleaner. Hopefully it will stay like this.
CURRENT
A. Began Perspectives course on missions. It came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. I will be learning this and quickly using it to shape the ministry web site. www.dfwperspectives.net
B. Continuing with Theophostic prayer ministry each week. Just begun to list and journal about those I need forgive over these last 50 years. May God guide and anoint the journaling and our prayer sessions.
C. Continuing to serve the homeless on Sunday mornings with SOUL Outreach Ministries. My delight is to hand anyone the gospel of John or a New Testament. I trust that God will guide the reader and make alive His Holy Word.
D. Continuing to make the gospels of John, Bible booklet and other Christian literature available in the seminary student center. This is a way to equip the saints for the works of their ministries.
UPCOMING
i. Going to the Christian dentist on WED at 11. What I seek is guidance about what dental work is needed right away. There is plenty that can wait until the summer. Hopefully by then I will have an income to afford getting the root canals, crowns and bridge.
ii. Thanks again for your prayers. There have been many times that I was able to concentrate on putting the notes into Mind Jet. This will help me in many ways. The prospective donors will be able to see the overview fo the ministry quickly from a birds eye view. As I enroll and work with advisors they can drill down to the details of their area and see it from a worms eye view. This can both cast the vision over the web and track the developments as they unfold. My current focus is to input the hundreds of pages of notes. Then I will edit them so that they are most useful. Then I will make them attractive and easy to understand for you and others over the web. The prayer aim is to get into the Productivity ZONE and stay there for a long while.
iii. There is an office for rent near the seminary at Swiss and Haskell. I have looked for an offiece withing a mile of there and that si by far the best. It is a lovely converted duplex. AS I have been reviewing the Big Picture I see that it could be an ideal location to have a recording studio for the students. At first it would be audio and later video. This would give them a way to edify the Body of Christ and receive donations over the web. Also the web sites for the students and others could be made there. The plan is to soon approach millionaire and billionaire women to give jewelry. From that view the rent seems small at only 1,250 per month. This location comes on the market every few years. Maybe God will open that door this time or in the future.
iv. Pray for funds to fix the car. The clicking sound comes and goes.
