TUESDAY BRIEFING
2-24-04
ALL glory to God in Jesus Name!
May you humble your self before Jesus Christ daily.
May you learn much about the passion of Christ.
May God surprise you with extra special blessings.
Amen?
COMPLETED
1. A gracious friend paid for my membership in Netaccountiblity. He and I will have easy access to the kinds of sites the other has gone to on the web. It is not a software filter but a human system. Maybe you know someone that can use this service especially a teen son or college student then go to www.netaccountability.com
2. Exercised in the fitness club for the first time in many weeks. My back and shoulders had been getting sore. My neck was stiff and I had leg cramps at odd times. My very sedentary lifestyle requires that I make an effort to get my heart rate up periodically and work the muscles that are asking for help.
3. I am genuinely thankful for your reading this. I know that I am not alone. This pilgrim path has been bumpy. It has been valuable to share with you and others this travel log. As a man that must write to stay sane, it is special to have a regular readership. Your prayers are super important and your comments are wonderful. But for those who just read THANKS.
4. Getting into the habit of pausing briefly to pray several times during the day and night. This occurs at different times and places yet almost always while seated on the commode.
CURRENT
A. I need to hold fast to the vision given by God over the years. It is about to come forth soon. But there are trails of my faith before the Grand Opening.
B. Before Saturday midnight I will post another mind map on the web site. This will have the milestones and key tasks. That will give the Big Picture to the intercessors and advisors. They will see where we are going and how to get there.
C. Then after that mind map is posted the focus shifts quickly to writing the script for the face-to-face presentation. Without delay GO, Show, Tell and Ask. Surely people will give and I will improve with practice.
UPCOMING
i. Preparing to send out a Weekly Accountability Report related to the milestones/goals and tasks. A summary of those facts will be in the Tuesday Briefing. This is anticipation of needing to keep the board of directors current with the specific facts, figures and challenges. The archive of this will be published on a blog for intercessors and advisors. If you wish to have the link to that blog then let me know.
ii. Preparing to send out a Monthly Spiritual Condition Report. Also many of those highlights will be in the Tuesday Briefing. But this will have some details not presented here. The archive will too be in a blog for intercessors and advisors. If you wish to have the link to that blog then let me know.
iii. Pray for my possible relationship with a vendor named Convio www.convio.com . I have begun to talk with their representative . They have an amazing selection of products and services online that they have been using to serve various secular nonprofits for years. I can step into their system instead of needing to buy various products and services for different vendors and try to make them work together. Remember the 40K fund raising goal? 10K is for consultants and 10K is for web design. This company would get a big chunk of both of these. This is FAR more money than I have today. But to a wealthy Christian business owner this would be a very wise investment.
iv. God is opening the door for me to preach Sunday morning to the homeless people on the streets during our outreach. My three point outline is 1) God love you, 2) Jesus loves you and 3) Now go love others as God in Christ as loved you.
v. There have been minor pains in my left kneecap as I am walking down stairs. With your prayers this too will be healed.
