COMPLETED
1. God has met financial needs right on time over and over again. This has happened for years and most dramatically recently. The Holy Spirit keeps reminding me of that as I face the next few weeks.
2. Thankfully the car is running fine. Just about one time a week someone asks. I appreciate your prayers on this. Plus today driving through a heavy rain I was reminded that if God does not protect me it does not matter how carefully I drive on slick roads with low visibility. I cannot control all the cars and trucks around me.
3. I have been eating well. God has provided good foods and supplements. Amidst the financial pinch I refuse to skimp there because previously when I did major depression and very low energy followed. It takes strength and faith to progress on this narrow pilgrim path.
4. As I have been pausing briefly to pray throughout the day and night I find that I am very grateful for the little things like friends, food, clothes, music, radio, how far God has brought me, health, etc.
CURRENT
A. I stay busy. To live is to work for me. My continual challenge is to better use my time and energy to serve Jesus. Balancing is the name of the game … short term and long term, important and urgent, spiritual and temporal, planning and actions, work and rest.
B. Going to visit my family is an important break. I have rarely taken vacations. I will tell you more abut that soon and request your prayers.
UPCOMING
i. Just as son as I get back from Colorado I MUST quickly get into the fund raising mode. I have been mentally and emotionally preparing.
ii. I have spent a large chunk of time putting the notes on the many index cards into a new software named TaskTimer. It is like the Franklin Covey of Europe and other countries. In the demo I was amazed at all the ways it can use the data. But now that the data is in there I cannot seem to get at it to use it or change it. I will call their technical support when I get back.
iii. I upgraded my online back up service but it is not working right. That means another tech support call.

Does God Exist? Is the question that plagued me during my teen years. I never met a church-goer that could begin to answer this. And now, 35 years later I have read the most complete answer I have ever seen. THREE BIG STEPS FORWARD
3-1-04
THANKS again for your many prayers.
There were three big steps forward recently … two new mind maps and new blog.
Together these three will give intercessors, advisors and accountability partners a way to track with me during the important transition of the coming months.
Thanks to some challenging questions by an advisor I have reinvented the ministry.
The major shift has gone from the focus on stewardship.
Instead the focus is now on evangelizing and discipline the DFW Metroplex.
This is something that I have more passion about and can be more quickly shared.
As you will see on the mind map … the new mission statement is to systematically facilitate more effective evangelism and discipleship throughout the DFW Metroplex.

I asked for prayers to line out the milestones. That is now on a new mind map. You and others can quickly see how I plan to get from here to there. See the link at the end.
The fund raising Boot Camp emphasized the importance to working with accountability partner(s) to stay focused and gain momentum. I have started a new blog just for that purpose. The first entry gives the introduction and overview. Soon I hope that it will have more facts, figures and specific prayer requests.
TYPOS AND SPELLING
Note that the mind map software was a trial version without a spell checker.
The trial timed out before I could ask a friend to proof read it.
So forgive the typos and spelling errors.
After the fund raising gets going I will buy the full version and make changes.
NAME
The name of the emerging ministry keeps changing.
The name of the mind map is Our Metroplex Vision.
But three other names have been in my mind

These are appealing because the aim is to lead believers to see DFW as our mission field.
