MORE PROGRESS
5-15-04
After many struggles today the goal was met and surpassed.
The goal was 15 hours a week and it turned out to be 16 this week.
Hopefully next week it will be that many and maybe more.
The battle is to continue making more progress.
The forces of perfectionism, procrastination are giving way little by little.
It has taken a focused special effort to get into the ZONE each time.
Then like abiding in the True Vine it has been smooth.
This is the front line of the spiritual conflict.
Next week this progress needs to become translated into more presentations.
I attempted to develop summary diagrams but got make little headway today.
Pray for wisdom and insight about this small but critical next step.
What did come together and is ready to share is what follows about Threads.
AIM
Pray for the diagrams and Threads to unfold beautifully next week.
The aim is to have a short sweet and simple presentation for face-to-face.
Get on the road and into the habit of sharing it often and easily.
The presentation and promotional materials will point to the Launch Team web site.
Both of those need the diagrams and Threads.
THREADS
The Threads are the kinds of thin slices that are the tiny stepping-stones.
They are the deliverables that you can pray to come together soon.
The OMV Threads are the key elements that are essential to the ministry.
A thread is an element of the OMV story.
Selected threads are needed to cast the vision.
Diagrams will graphically present the Big Picture.
This will tell where OMV is going and how it will get there.
From the diagrams will be links from the heading of the thread to a
Mind Map
one page summary
three minute audio message over the web
place on the web where there are more details
.
All the threads will become woven together on the Launch Team web site.
This will become the tapestry that tells the whole story of OMV.
Each thread is part of the OMV tapestry.
The tapestry is translated into a Blueprint.
The Blueprint includes the business plan and much more.
The Blueprint is what is used to design and develop the initial web platform.
All along the way there will be room for changes and improvements.
What follows is a list of the OMV Threads.
They are grouped by NOW, SOON and LATER.
That refers to approximately when JSO needs to write and/or make audio message.
Your faith-filled prayers would be appreciated.

LINED UP DUCKS
5-14-04
For the FIRST time these ducks are lined up.
THANKS to answered prayers the pieces have been put into a logical order.
These are also the simplest summaries I have done.
Most paragraphs refer to many pages in my computer and in my files.
Using this outline, Mind Maps and diagrams can make it more graphic.
THANKS again and again for your prayers.
My flesh did not want to come this far.
God used your prayers with others to help me win many tiny battles.

PROGRESS
5-13-04
There has been good progress.
I have spent 6 hours in the ZONE this week.
Only 9 more hours to meet the goal for this week.
I know what to do when I am in the ZONE things flow together.
Late tonight I will send links to the latest developments.
I hope to have outlines and diagrams on the web for you.
Other key pieces will be shared on SAT night.
Maybe I will begin to work on the new web site for the Launch Team.
I went to open the bank account yesterday.
I discovered that I was lacking a tax ID number.
I expect to get that number today and open the account.
ICU
I cannot over estimate the importance of your prayers during these weeks.
It is very much like when I was in Intensive Care Unit.
I recall in 1996 I almost died due to a hit and run accident.
I was struck behind on my bicycle.
I had on my helmet.
I landed on my face and you can still see the scar.
Two of the vertebras in my neck were shattered.
My ankles were fractured.
I was one month in Parkland and two months in a rest home.
I was on disability for one year.
Thankfully many were praying for me.
The nurses and doctors said it was a miracle I was not paralyzed or did not die.
During all that time the first few weeks were the most critical.
That is when I was attended to by nurses and doctors around the clock.
I had all kinds of tubes going into and out of me.
I was fed intravenously for weeks.
I took pills of all colors and sizes.
At the end I was not on medication.
I walked out with a cane that I hardly needed.
God did much healing in a short time.
During the first month in the rest home I rededicated my life to Christ many times.
God gave me a new lease on life.
I was committing to do what ever it took to be faithful to the heavenly vision.
My life verse has become Acts 26:16.
The context is as Paul addressed king Agrippa.
Paul said, “I have not been unfaithful to the heavenly vision.”
My deepest commitment to be totally faithful to the vision related to my calling.
PRAYER
I apologize for sending you so many emails in recent week.
After Launch Day there will be a variety of options.
A person can get summary or detailed information on any facet of the ministry.
Today I am not able to segment the support base that much.
I can tell when you are praying, then there is progress.
When I slack on asking for prayer I get stalled.
Recently I was going through hundreds of clip art images.
One that stood out was when the men made a hole in the roof.
They lowered the sick man down to Jesus in the crowded house.
A preacher once pointed out that Jesus said He saw THEIR faith.
God is responding to your faith as well as mine.
Note the testimonies of most amazing answered prayers.
Usually many people were praying.
Intercession is God’s way to get God’s job done.

COMPLETED
· Good progress toward the 15 hours this week time on task. There were 2 hours on MON and 3 on TUE. Note that I am off work on THU and SAT. May those days and nights put me over the top.
CURRENT
· Now have a blog to record the testimonies of those that God uses for the half windfall http://www.xanga.com/Half_Windfall Let us believe for hundreds and even thousands of dollars as obvious windfalls. I will keep this blog until Launch day and perhaps beyond. However the greatest need is during the short term.· Going to open a bank account for the ministry very soon. Two possible banks. May God guide. May that go smoothly.
· Need to FOCUS, concentrate and take action steps. When in the ZONE that is when I am abiding in the True Vine. The outline and threads come together with effortless effort.
· I need God to send me some tailor made encouragement.
UPCOMING
· The outlines will be posted in the next few days. These will be summarized with Mind Maps and diagrams.
· They will be better presented with audio over web and clip art.
· May God make me ready to go show tell ask and thank next week.· Pray for improved quality of my sleep. There have been enough hours. But it has not been as deep and refreshing as before.
· Pictures of the graduation and BBQ will be published soon.
· Planned to have the letters to the grads as PDF files by now but the program is not working right. Maybe next week.

LATE
5-10-04
My self-imposed deadline of midnight tonight is very close.
I have entered nearly all the notes into outlines in the computer.
These are in more than a dozen documents.
Parts of them are in good order.
Parts of them are a mess.
It is like the car was taken completely apart.
Now some chunks are reassembled.
But the job is not nearly done.
When I was in the ZONE things were flowing smoothly.
But it was a struggle just to get to this project.
The seminary graduation took more time and energy than I expected.
There have been various times when I cleared the time but could not do the work.
There have been mental and emotional battles.
As I pray I feel assured repeatedly that this is the best path.
Every spiritual marker (back to 1977) points to this narrow juncture.
Next week I need to get back on the road to show, tell and ask.
I need to put in 15 hours this week.
The overall outline and key threads need to be written
