Miracle soon

According to the Bible God intervened in human affairs in special ways to accomplish His will. As you have been tracking with me you know that my cash flow has been upside down. The outgo has been greater than the income for a long time. The red ink has increased. I juggled the best I could but the math got the best of me. Creditors have been calling and the rent for this month needs to be paid.
Until a short time ago I had faith and expectation that donations to the emerging ministry would provide 2K per month. That would be enough to pay my bills pay off the creditors. However when it came to crunch time I lacked the courage to call on wealthy donors.
In the providence of God this opportunity with the air purification equipment came my way just at this season. After much prayer and discussion with trusted friends I am committed to go for it 100%.
Now in order for me to make an income from this opportunity I need to have demo units to place for the three day trial.
During the next few days I will be seeking a cosigner. I have gathered the data on a way to get 5, 8 or 11 units. The payments can be in 4 to 48 months depending on the company.
I am completely committed to work this with all my might without looking back. Surely I will be able to pay my bills and repay the loan.
NOW I need God to guide me to the person He will use at this critical moment. I need much grace and favor.
Many friends have been supportive of this choice. Others remain skeptical. Some are on the fence.
Some time in the near future I really will segment the email list. I will give options to opt into the updates about the new adventure with sales or just get messages about the emerging ministry.
God has been giving me a rough sketch of how to do both during a week. Please pray earnestly that I will capture those tiny ideas and put them into the growing document. Then later I will review, revise and apply the ideas when the time is ripe. That is how God reveals big things to me by giving little bits that I need to be faithful to record and use.
During these weeks my whole attention is on getting going with sales. In a month there will be the annual conference in the Dallas area just north of DFW airport. I plan to attend and use that as a major boost. I will do all I can to get ready before and use that momentum after.
Then within a few short months I will have an income that will much more than pay my bills. It will allow me to make good payments to repay my all debts. After I get rolling in that way I will weave ministry back into the mix.
I trust that the call of God on my life will not allow me to be away from ministry for very long. The difference then is that I will no longer be worried about paying my bills.
Also I will have made friends with Christians all over the country that have significantly increased their incomes. Last weekend in Tennessee I met people from all walks of life that began with ordinary jobs and now are making a six figure income with this company. Many do this part time and minister full time. I hope that God will use my relationship with some of them to raise the seed capital to launch the web based ministry.

At the end of this note are links to pictures. These links go to photo albums of the Smokey Mountains and Greenville Tennessee (in the far northeast part of the state).
I greatly enjoyed to scenery of rolling hills and plenty of tall trees. The city has a lovely downtown district. The meetings were held in a renovated theater named Capitol that is across from the county courthouse. On the front lawn of the courthouse are many memorials to war veterans.
All over Greenville there are all kinds of churches. There seems to be more per square mile than Dallas.
The first speaker on the first day was the head of training for the company. It was an optional devotional session. The theater was more than half full. His message was more strongly evangelistic than any I have heard in years. There were people that were squirming with conviction. On the second day his message was on having a living faith in God.
I bought his book How to Conquer Giants that draws many lessons from the life to David and Solomon. COMPLETED
· Talked with the counselor with the Consumer Credit Counseling Service CCCS. She said that by working with them the interest on the debt to the credit card companies will be seriously reduced. Plus the one monthly payment to CCCS will be very affordable. But this cannot begin until we know what kind of income I will be making from the air purification sales.
· To get started with sales I need to have units to place for three-day demos. I applied with the finance company that is a sister company. I was told that I would need a co-applicant. My credit rating is not good enough.
· I am half way done in processing the many pages of notes from the weekend training in Tennessee. God used your previous prayers about writing simple summaries to distill the zillion notes of the ministry into a centrally organized presentation. That was a new skill for me that I have been using again on this challenging project.
CURRENT
· Now it feels like transplanting a pot plant. God is moving me from a set of circumstances that continued for more than four years unto something all together different pot.
· Pray for God to guide me to the co-applicant for the demo units or another way to fund what is called a Success Pack.
· Also I may need to borrow the money to pay my July and August rent.
· I believe that I am inside the circle of God’s will and thus I trust that Jesus will provide more than enough and right on time.
UPCOMING
· May God turn this test into a testimony.

· I plan to attend the national leadership convention in Dallas August 18 to 22. That will be a massive boost just as I am starting.

COMPLETED
· THANK God for MAJOR technical break through today. I was working on a project for my employment that has important transferable value. I am creating my first DVD as a training aid for seminary students. A coworker is the expert on the software program and I am the media support. What was first thought to be a small media challenge turned out to be extremely difficult. God provided my supervisor who is a Media Specialist to solve the problems. After MUCH trouble the active image on the computer can be video recorded with a mike to provide a voice-over instruction. That will allow us to better serve the incoming students this fall. Unlike last year these can much more quickly scale the learning curve on a powerful software named Endnote. The DVD will be loaned out from the library like a book for three weeks. AND I can use this SAME set up to record the presentations for the emerging ministry that I have been making to individuals. Those short video clips will go on the web and a DVD.
· Today I made the 14th face-to-face presentation. It went very smoothly. For the FIRST time the person OFFERED to pray about becoming a MONTHLY supporter. He will talk with his wife.
· God has sent money, meals and groceries in amazing ways right on time. Repeatedly I have witnessed His Hand of provision during these difficult days.
· It has been a mental and emotional roller coaster. My prayer life has greatly improved. I have drawn close to Jesus MANY times. He has comforted, assured and counseled me.
CURRENT
· Need much wisdom and guidance to best juggle the incomes and bills.
· May need to borrow money to get me through to the time the sales commissions arrive. I am praying and thinking about who to ask. May God guide and provide.
UPCOMING
· Leaving 4 a.m. on Thursday. That is LONG before the rooster crows. It will be a 12-hour drive to Greenville Tennessee. Pray for safety on the roads. I will be in the vehicle with two others. May God bless and guide our conversations.
· The training session on FRI is 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. That is 15 hours. Then there is half a day on SAT. We will rest and return on SUN. The company has been offering this monthly training for years so I trust it will be very good.
· May God bless me to effectively absorb the training materials while there and best process them afterwards.
· May God direct my steps and other actions to make the right contacts for mutual support afterwards. There will be thousands of people there from all over the country. May God grant me divine appointments with the ones that I need to know in the coming weeks and months.
· Starting next week I will be FOCUSED on sales.

TENNESSEE UPDATE

That was an AMAZING long weekend!
THANKS again for your prayers. There were MANY hours on the road. God kept us safe through the fog, speeding drivers and various highway construction projects. The conversations along the way were very inspiring and edifying. I have LOTS of notes just from what was said in the vehicle.
Greenville Tennessee is in the far northeast corner of the state. It is a small city that is spread out over a lovely section of the Smokey Mountains. The rolling hills of that region were visually refreshing. The roads cut through the tall trees and around the bends in the highway. There were sudden beautiful vistas. I took many pictures that I will post on the web. On the return trip we were going through the Smokey Mountains in the early morning as the heavy mist was lifting. It was obvious where the area got is name. It looked like the hillsides for miles were smoldering from an almost fire. There was one place where it looked like a dozen smoky campfires doted the opposite hillside. The pictures cannot capture the depth and loveliness of the views.
The meetings were held in a renovated theater across from the beautiful county courthouse.
We heard from a wide range of speakers all day Friday and Saturday. Some had been with the company for ten years and more. Others had only been around a very few years. Their instructions and insights were very valuable. Their talks and personalities varied. All different kinds of people are doing well at selling air purification equipment all over the country. I took two legal pads of notes BOTH front and back. Then I put those notes into a laptop at night.
THANKS again for your prayers. After this long journey and amidst the massive inputs my mind and body went beyond its limits. Thankfully God gave alertness and strength.
The fifty dollar registration fee for the weekend covered three great meals from three different restaurants, PLUS a three-ring notebook that is FULL of practical handouts from the speakers. Like the president said the company makes all the profit on retail sales so the training can be so inexpensive. That is unlike other companies in the industry. For example I bought 6 great cassette training tapes for only 5 dollars.
PRODUCTS
Over and over I heard testimonies of what the air purification products had done. These improvements happened within a three days in a wide range of settings. Families and companies buy due to the various benefits enjoyed. I came to appreciate that this company has been pushing this envelop of addressing indoor air quality for eighteen years. Five million of units have been sold. The unsolicited letters from satisfied customers give voice to the various scientific studies.
These products are NOT like what is advertised on TV and elsewhere. These machines do all of that PLUS there are additional PROPRIETARY technologies in the machines. These units clean the air in ways the others cannot. They treat the entire house instead of just one room.
One speaker pointed out the large and increasing selection of allergy products that are available both over-the-counter and by prescription. Those who had needed such medications reported that they cut back and often stopped needing to use them. We were told to be careful not to make any medical claims. The machine cannot cure anybody. But it does eliminate particles in the air.
The five different devices in the best selling unit can cover a 3,000 square foot house. When it is adjusted properly there is a fresh smell like out doors. The particles in the air bond together and harmlessly fall to the floor. This includes the dust and dust mites as well as pollen. Cigarette smoke and pet odors are neutralized. That is a big plus for restaurants as well as used car dealers and daycares.
During the demonstration the smell of ammonia and onion is quickly eliminated.
I have been taking notes on all the different places and ways these products have proven effective. I have been organizing that on a mind map to guide my steps. I am seeing the huge size of this marketplace. So God is using my strength of research and organizing yet again.
FINANCING
The air purification units are not cheap but they are affordable. There is a sister company that just provides the financing for these. For example Best Finance will go four months and not charge ANY interest. That is one of the various options that I am coming to understand.
NEXT
Right away I need to process the many notes while they are fresh in my mind.
There are the many pages in the three ring binder that need to be studied.
I must balance my tendency to excessively prepare with short term action steps that will lead to desperately needed income from retail sales. During these next few days I will be creating a workable plan for the short term and long term. I will share the highlights of that with you soon. I still need much prayer to get things going.
The national convention is coming to the Dallas area in just one month. The president of the company hinted at the new products that will be released then. These will greatly boost sales. There are several smaller units coming out. Thus more people will be able to benefit from cleaner air.
There are all kinds of businesses that I will be calling upon. Plus there are families that are potential customers.
