TWO DOORS OPENED

The main purpose for these emails is to enroll prayer support for the ministry that God has called me to do. I have been doing my best to follow Jesus since my water baptism on January 30, 1977. That is most of my 51 year lifetime. Along the way I have tried every kind of way to pay my bills. I have had full time and part time jobs. I have taken scores of fund raising seminars. I have tried to apply what I learn but fell on my face. I tried the Muller approach of only prayer. I tried the Moody approach of just letting the need be known. When it came to directly asking I balked.

So in the fullness of time God brought this business opportunity to my attention . The company has been around for 18 years and sold 5 million units. I could have been presented with this option long ago. But in the soverignity of God this is the ripe season.

I read today of a couple that was in worse financial trouble than me when they began. Now they have a sizable and steady income. They seek to help others do the same.

Today God opened the doors for two demos. I was talking with the man that was testing my car and he welcomes a demo. (I will tell about the results of the test in the Tuesday Breifing.) Then as I talked with the banker she will be delighted to take a demo. Her friend has used and said good things about the product. And one of her duaghters has bad allergies.

I have no problem inviting people to test the air purificatin equiment and see if it works for them. In my mind and heart that is not the kind of sales that has terrified me for decades. Repeatedly I have heard from a variety of sources that the unit sells itself during the brief demo. So the customer just about does the close on them self.

The challenge is to find lots of people who will give it a try. That is where the Phoenix System teaches how to generate hundreds of fresh leads weekly.

Every week I become more convinced that this product delivers valuable benefits to the customer. The more convinced I am, then the more convincing I will be with the stranger.

My father recognizes that indoor air purification is a booming industry. He bases that on the increase of ads for specialized air filters. But like I told him this product is not like those. It is not just an air filter or just an ionizer. It blends 5 technologies including UV light. Some of these patents are exclusive to our company.

The obsticle about asking realtes to the cosigner. I have nearly completed the written proposal. I am at the brink of my fears. I need to walk through these fears right away. Victory is close.

THANK God for much progress on the presentation for the cosigner.

I am asking a person to take a risk on me.A way to both get to the yes and minimize the regrets afterward is to line out the reasons, facts and figures. I have most of these in various documents and in my mind. The challenge is to put them together in an orderly fashion on a Word document.

Today I will copy and paste the most important units of information from the mind maps into this central Word document. Last night I made good headway in this process. Also last night I signed up for the presentation web sites that I had mentioned previously. These are huge time savers. What I have seen in rambling one hour lectures is compacted into just a few minutes online.

When I signed up for the Phoenix System I expected a large tool box of useful resources. As I have begun to explore the contents I have found that it is more and better than I expected. The abundance of options would be like a Home Depot, Office Max and Wal-Mart rolled into one. That might intimidate many people but it delights me. This means that there is plenty of latitude for creativity and adapting to different situations.

TUESDAY BRIEFING from John S. Oliver on August 3, 2004

BLESSINGS
ALL glory to God in Jesus Name!
May you choose to say YES to the LORD Jesus.
May you know that God uses your intercessions mightily.

COMPLETED
· Saturday a friend invited me to bring my few things to his huge yard sale. More than half of mine sold in two hours and the remainder of mine and his were donated to a local ministry.
· Met again with the business consultant and got useful insights.
· Anonymous donor gave a generous contribution. This provides a little elbowroom amidst a very tight cash flow squeeze.
· I have been working with Brain and learning many insights about how to easily prospect and present the air purification products to buyers. He is adapting a system begun in Phoenix Arizona that will generate hundreds of fresh leads a week.
· I have been reading the company literature and hearing audio messages online. I have been distilling these into simple summaries on mind maps. This is improving my understanding, excitement and confidence.
· Been communicating with the credit card companies and negotiating very favorable temporarily reduced payments.
· This week there have been the miserable times of depression and despair. It has been a mental, emotional and spiritual roller coaster.
· There have been several wonderful times of prayer in the morning.

CURRENT
· Now I am in the process of outlining the presentation for the candidates to cosign for the demo units. May I get outside of my comfort zone and just start asking. May this come together right away. I have a list of several candidates. May I have favor with one very soon.
· Maybe God is nudging you to cosign. Then contact me.

UPCOMING
· Going to talk soon with a reliable mechanic about the clutch and transmission.
· I will soon sign up with an amazing service that has several streamlined web sites. This allows me to present to prospects all over the country and even all over the world. The air purification company ships to 70 countries.
· Rent has been my nemesis over the years. I owe for July and August. This has been the cause of the anxiety, prayer, depression and motivation to move forward quickly on sales. Pray for grace, mercy and continued favor.
· It is my hope that I will quickly make commissions and catch up all my bills and debts. I have met many who have made a big income their first month of sales. But that points back to the need for the demo units.
· I really promise to segment the email list after I get the demo units. Then you will need to opt into an email about my new career or check out the blog.
