TUESDAY BRIEFING from John S. Oliver on September 14, 2004

BLESSINGS
ALL glory to God in Jesus Name!May love reach your heart.
May you lift up your heart to Jesus ONLY.
May you TRUST Jesus no matter how you feel.
Amen?

COMPLETED
· This has been the most difficult Tuesday Briefing to write.
· As NEVER before I have been feeling short times of mental and emotional distress.
· There has been weariness, fuzziness and confusion.
· Faith, fears and doubts have swirled around
· Sometimes I recall and then forget how God has directed me.
· I write many important notes on the computer but these can become too many to act upon.
· Journaling has been helpful.
· Talking with others has been helpful.
· Asking for prayer has been helpful.
· Stopping and silently crying out to God has been most helpful.
· Meditating on the promises has given hope.

CURRENT
· Keep it simple.
· I can only do a few things well.
· I need wisdom to balance planning and action.

UPCOMING
· Sometimes I faintly see how God is leading in the sequence of short-term projects. I need grace to write these down and note the action steps.
· Thankfully God has provided several accountably partners. I need to commit to a course of actions and follow through.
· Be praying and expecting an email soon named Short Term Game Plan

John 5:31 PM

Tuesday, September 14, 2004

· After many years of prayer and preparation the shell of the ministry web site has been launched.
· A technical obstacle that stood in the way much of that time has been removed
· A very important milestone has been past and the next ones are clearly marked.
· I do not feel delighted or excited.
· I need to approach more prospective donors but lack the motivation.
· Holy Spirit has been pointing me back to the many previously prepared presentations.
· God is using those to rekindle the fire in my belly.
· Need to use the best parts of those to craft a short, sweet and simple presentation for face-to-face meetings.

WHO DO YOU KNOW?
9-12-04

A friend suggested asking for referrals. This is a simple way for you to help me help others. I applied it a little while later a got a big positive response.

As you know I am involved in fund raising for the emerging ministry. I have been talking to many people. Most of those have a heart for what I am doing. But many are facing financial challenges. Maybe that is true of you. Yet everyday millions of dollars go to missionaries and other ministries. So somewhere someone is giving to the kingdom of God.

Who do you know that God might use as a donor during this start up phase?

Kindly think and pray about it. Be still and be receptive to any names that may come to your mind.

You can tell them about the ministry and me. You can point them to the beta web site www.ears2hear.homestead.com From there they can email or write me. My phone number is 214-821-7530.

There are links to use Pay Pal for $5, $10, $20, $50, $100, $200 and $500 http://ears2hear.homestead.com/Donate.html

By faith a donation here is a wise investment into the kingdom of God. For a relatively few dollars people, resources and opportunities will be connected all over cyberspace.

It is our collective responsibility to establish a dynamic ministry in cyberspace. That is where millions visit today. Plus future generation will be online in ever-bigger ways. Now is the time to build an innovative web site that will be responsive to their various needs.

In conclusion, kindly pray earnestly if God will use you to supply referrals and ask for His to use others. Together we are the Greater Body of Christ. And this is the season for us to pull together. Amen?
