· Tuesday night I made a presentation in the home of a couple from my home church. The couple greatly believed in the vision for the ministry. They could not now afford to give money but offered services. When exploring the possibilities it turns out that this stay-at-home mom has much background in bookkeeping and budgeting. And she enjoys it. She said contrasted to kids, the numbers do what you tell them and they stay where your left them. Such clerical skills are one of my weaknesses. Some major donors will want to examine the financial figures. The better these are presented the more likely they will give. The financial house needs to be kept in order for legal, ethical and spiritual reasons. I had planned to use some of the 40K to hire a bookkeeper. Now it is great that God has provided some one that I already get along with well. And after the funds start to be donated I afford to pay her for her services. That is a win-win situation.
· Bought stronger reading glasses little jump to 2.5 magnification. It is great to read again without strain
· I found a bargain for dress shoes online at www.habband.com I used my very limited funds to buy some due to the importance of appearances with prospective donors. Note I buy new shoes less than one time a year.
· Holy Spirit has been reminding me of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. I read the book long ago. Just the names of the habits have been useful reference points as I navigate these stormy waters. Those 7 habits are Be Proactive, Begin with the End in Mind, Put First Things First, Think Win-Win, Seek First to Understand … Then to be Understood Synergize and Sharpen the Saw.

· Segmented lists will help me to work more closely with intercessors, advisors, and accountability partners.
· I MUST use the blessings that God has provided in terms to wonderful relationships to get to the next level with the emerging ministry.
· Pray for my relationship with the new bookkeeper.
