Neighbor Praise Report

Praise God for answering MANY prayers.
Sheba had a wonderful report last night.
Her contact at the hospital knew someone that works at the Department of Public Safety. It turns out that the solution to the ID puzzle has always been easy. She was given misinformation long ago. All she had to do was go to the driver’s license office and ask them to issue her a duplicate. She needed to give them the correct information that is on the file and the duplicate will be sent to the old address. That process has begun and will take 30 days. She did not need to show a copy of her birth certificate or other picture ID like she had been told many weeks ago.
The new owner of the apartments can accept her disability check for her rent payment. His corporation is structured to allow that yet the previous owner could not. SO her rent is finally paid. That relieves much stress.
She is making remarkable progress in physical therapy. They have her come to Parkland several days a week. Plus she has exercises to do at home. The doctors and therapists are amazed at he rapid improvements considering her age and the nature of the injury.
The District Attorney will begin an investigation into the cashing of the check in January. The trial is set for mid February. There is a chance that the case will be thrown out of court. The video tape is clearly not her. She was in the hospital at the time the check was cashed. The store is closed for cashing fraudulent checks.
WOW this sister has passed through a valley with many troubles. Jesus was with her in the pains and troubles. The Savior has delivered her. God has answered many prayers.
The plan is to interview her in a few days. May this come together gracefully.

Neighbor News

Sheba is going to therapy today. She goes there several times a week. Thank God there has been improvements in the movement of her right arm and hand.
She will get some paperwork on Friday from a man at the hospital where she was born that will solve the ID problem. Then after that is processed she will be able to use her disability checks to pay her bills.
She tells me that the food banks she has gone to are out of food. Pray for them to be restocked and for her to get to the right ones when they have plenty to give her.
She needs to gain a better understanding what the new apartment manager about what chores she is to do each week or month and what the pay will be. She is a hard worker and has done this for years. But the person in the office on the property is not the one that decides the rate of pay. She needs to get through to the key busy person in the home office and have much favor with them.

NEIGHBOR WORSE AND ME TOO

Sheba had an infection due to the surgery.
Doctors said that could happen.
She was in Parkland Hospital over the weekend.
There they gave her powerful medications that removed the infection.
While there she learned that someone had stolen one of her checks and cashed it.
The company is pressing felony charges.
She said she could go to prison for it.
She has been in contact with legal aid.
When she got home she found a notice on her door about eviction in 3 days.
She cannot deposit disability checks due to the ID problems.
She is seeking to work this out with the new apartment management.
When she needs to borrow money for bus fare that means she is not eating.
Previously she has gone days without eating before letting me know.
Her faith is God has been tested like this all her life.
She was born crippled and did not take her first steps until 12 years old.
Her back was wounded in the military and in a civilian job.
Thus the disability checks.
Every time the weather changes she has much pain.
She has lived a life like Job.
She recognizes that it is the devil that wants her to deny her faith in Jesus.

The new management put an eviction notice on my door too.
The paper says I have until midnight Wednesday to move out.
They are in their legal rights to do this.
I am two and a half months behind.
I am amazed this did not come earlier.
After fervent prayer I went and talked with the new manager, her name is Virginia.
I confirmed with her that I could stay if I paid up.
She just needs to report to the owners.
She indicated that I may be permissible to pay half right a way and say when the rest will be paid.
May God grant me the funds very soon for this.
For months I have been paying my phone bill, auto insurance and other bills on the last day.
I do not like to live this close to the edge.
But Jesus is my lord and He is in control of the variables.
God could have provided a week or more earlier like He had for decades.
Thus I know He is close at hand during this difficult transition.
He is faithful to not forsake me as I seek first His kingdom.
The call of God came to me shortly after I was born again in 1977.
Today I told an advisor that God has been preparing me to this most of my life
Right here at the finish line the spiritual attacks have increased.
First of all I am asking for much prayer.
Second I am looking closely at how to juggle my bills to pay as much as I can.
Third I am asking you and others to pray about helping at this time of need.
Long ago a church planter told me that people give to vision and not to need.
Thus getting the video on the web and into DVD is the way to cast the vision.
People will give to the emerging ministry, I am sure.
Meanwhile I need the grace of God to put out this rent fire.
You are invited to pray fervently toady and for the next few days if needed.
I am sure God will guide and provide.
He may use you by supplying a gift.
I hesitate to say this because over the years so few have given to an email.
But I do not have time to call each one on this list.
Besides there are others not on this list that I will contact too.
Like I say in the video that I shot this weekend, all I am asking you to do is pray and obey.
