Scroll on SAT

I am seeking CLARITY about how to lead Our Compassionate Response to the disaster in Asia. I am using this opportunity as a springboard to launch the ministry and build the web platform. Then with that infrastructure in place, we will then later respond to other mission opportunities locally and globally.
I have begun to pull together my MANY notes into a long text documents. I notice that in order for me to pass along a clear understanding to others, then the message needs to be clear in my mind and heart.
During the coming weeks and months I need to communicate with various audiences over the web, using DVDs and CDs, in small groups, in large groups and one-on-one. There needs to be a core set of diagrams that are rooted in the Four Bridges www.fourbridges.org This will be like the essential DNA for the emerging ministry and it can serve ANY other ministry or church as an organizational and communication tool.
I am beginning to get my arms around this HUGE challenge mentally. And that comprehension is important and needed for me as an information architect. The contexts and relationships of the many kids of information and education needs to be present in my understanding. Then I will use this to begin to involve many others in collaboratively growing the Internet ministry.
I am praying for God to grant me to have His burden. Emotionally and spiritually I have tended to be dry. I have recently seen a DVD by Bruce Wilkerson named Vision of the Leader. There he gives many wonderful lessons. But what struck me hardest was the need to ask God for His burden. Then the leader is motivated by what moves the heart of God. His strength and energy to do the work of ministry are increased. And more people gladly follow.
I have had a passion about connecting the Body of Christ using synergies of communication technologies. People have gotten that when it met with then one-on-one. But now I seek to wrap that package in these current events.
This Saturday I plan to make another scroll like the one I made in May 2004. That scroll used a whole roll of kraft paper, the brown paper used to wrap packages. That exercise took several hours but proved to be very useful on many occasions. Various notes and power Point slides and key ideas were lined out in a LONG linear way. I have referred back to that various times to get my bearings and refresh the Big Picture viewpoint in me. This is the A to Z way of telling the story. It is unlike the mind map way of many spider web like branches coming from central cores. That too will be developed but LATER.
Kindly pray for wisdom from above. May God grant me insights and understanding as I weave together this long story. …

Shebaa has a kidney infection
1-12-05
Yesterday Shebaa had a very painful day and went to Parkland Hospital. She discovered that the cause of her vomiting blood and the blood in her stool. Her kidney is seriously infected. She is on medication for the next 21 days. Then they will remove her appendix that the doctor says is at risk of rupturing. But they cannot remove it until the kidney is okay.
Pray for her to take the mediation every day. The doctor said this is important. May the medication be blessed by God to perform very well in her body. May the appendix be removed in a timely and safe way.
She has had many and various pains in her body from the time she was born. She has gone to Parkland about 1 to 3 times a month for years. She just endured the discomfort associated with the progressing kidney trouble. She failed to mention it to the doctors for more than a year because she thought it was related to her other health challenges.

THIEF AND BURGLARS WERE CAUGHT
1-11-05
God answers prayers.
Yesterday I sent out the prayer request that is at the end of this message.
Then today at NOON, less than one day later, a man was caught breaking into the apartment of his ex-wife. He was half way in the window when he was stopped. He had two TVs in his car and other suspicious items. He is in jail now.
I learned the couple that lived across the hall from me are in prison now. They came to the apartment from a halfway house.
Remember a few years ago when I was burglarizes three times in 2 months? Several others in my building were burglarized too. The manager almost caught them in the act. But without an eyewitness or clear fingerprints the police was powerless.
All three of these people that are behind bars now showed signs of major drug addiction. Crack cocaine can drive a person to crime to support the habit.
I have lived in these apartments since 1991. This is 3 blocks from the seminary and 2 blocks for what I hope will be my future office. I have ZERO plans of moving. I just ask for prayers and trust Jesus.
Here is the email I sent yesterday.
Several cars have been broken into at the apartments in Dallas where I live.
These were in the parking lot behind the security gate.
The police said the thief needs to be caught in the act.
Shebaa has had her car broken into three times in 3 months.
I have not had a break in THANK God.
The new manager does not seem very concerned.
God can use your prayers to stop the thief.
