Short Term Seven
July 7, 2006

THANKS again for your prayers.

The decks are getting cleared and the course is starting to be charted.

Imagine a flowerbed that had become full of weeds. That is like what my online time management service had become. During this last day I had removed the many items that had been completed or were no longer useful.

I am starting to explore a few more ways to use this extremely powerful service. Huge companies use this to allow their departments and teams to communicate and collaborate. So the more I understand Central Desktop www.CentralDesktop.com then the better I will be able to use it for the new ministry.

As the weeds are removed and the tasks are arranged into suitable folders better focus is emerging.

Here are the Short Term Seven
1. Ask for prayers often
2. Improve my spiritual life
3. Clarify money management
4. Complete face-to-face presentation
5. Continue charting the course
6. Revise the Shebaa game plan
7. Add to the Simple Lessons

Ask for prayers often
Sending these prayer requests to you is one of several ways I ask for prayers during the week. I also send out requests to the groups liked from the Prayer Blog http://prayerhub.blogspot.com/ Also there are those I call for prayer on the phone and I meet with an intercessor at church on Sundays.

Improve my spiritual life
Today I brought out the yellow three ring binder that I have used off and on to guide my prayers. I removed what was not timely and I am adding current materials. Pray for God to use this during my quite times.

This major transition unto finally funding the ministry involves a testing of my faith. So I am back to meditating on the promises in the Bible. When these go into my heart I have peace and not anxiety.

Clarify money management
My personal finances are a mess. Over the years I have taken several valiant attempts at putting all the numbers on different software programs. Then I failed to keep it current. So pray for me to choose the best one for this season of my life and stick with it. Also a friend has offered to assist in getting this into order. May God bless our relationship.

Complete face-to-face presentation
Before the car went out of order I was making face to face presentations. The name was Four Bridges and the focus was serving those impacted by future hurricanes. That needs to be revised to Better Bridges and the new materials added. Pray for this to be ready so that I can set appointments as soon as the car is rolling.

Continue charting the course
Charting the course has only just begun. After these seven become part of the weekly routine then other projects will move to the workbench. The text based presentation deals with each part as a unit. The next phase is to create the mind maps and diagrams that shows how these relate to each other. The donors want to see how their money will be used to get from here to there and the advisors want to see the flow chart too.

Revise the Shebaa game plan
A few months ago I put all the many pieces of what is needed to keep Shebaa going into a large outline. There have been some changes and so it needs to be revised. Then more people need to be enrolled to assist her in various ways. They can read this game plan quickly come up to speed on the various health and financial challenges.

Add to the Simple Lessons
These are very difficult days for me. This is season when my faith is tested. The heat is up and the dross is becoming removed from the gold. During such times before I have written the best simple summary lessons. I need to be carefully to capture the inspirational thoughts and feelings as they fly by. Pray for times to gracefully develop these. Quality is better than quantity in this case. I hope that there will come a few one page units from the month that will serve to bless many in the years to come.

FOCUS
There are moments when I wonder if I am making all this far too complicated. I talked with a seminary student yesterday for less than 10 minutes and had zero visual aids. During that short time he understood the vision and game plan. He said what many seminary students have said before I would give you the thousands of dollars you need if I had it. While they do not in this city there are many people that could contribute several thousand dollars based just on a conversation. Pray for God to bring us together very soon.

Next 3 Steps
July 6, 2006

Last night I called Crisis Hotline.
God blessed me with helpful conversation with a caring and supportive volunteer.

My feelings had been on a roller coaster.
When I was up I felt clear and confident.
When I was down I felt depressed and despairing.

I am learning when to pay attention to my feeling and when to ignore them.
Feelings give useful information.
But this needs to be counter balanced with reason, faith and other inputs.

This morning at the end of my quite time I took away these three next steps.

ONE
CLEAR THE DECKS
When I was writing the text base for the ministry presentation all else was put on hold.
Now I need to go back and deal with those matters.
I have cleared off my desk for the first time in months.
Most things found a happy home and only two piles remain.
I need to do the same thing for my online time management service at Central Desktop.
Also I need to get a clear understanding of my present financial condition.
The clutter needs to become thinned so that the meaningful remains.

TWO
CHART A COURSE
Among the gifts that God has given me are planning and organizing.
After the decks are cleared then I need a simple way to get to the next stage.
This includes milestones, projects, tasks, priorities in a simple game plan.
The central focus will be quickly raising the seed capital for the ministry.
Also there needs to be a review and revision of the game plan for Shebaa.

THREE
FOLLOW THE COURSE
I have learned over the years that it is wise to ask for much prayer before taking actions.
So there will be a bust of many prayer requests after the course is charted.
I will actively enroll a Launch Team of intercessors, advisors and donors.
The car will be fixed soon and then I need to get into the habit of making presentations.
During the months the car has been out of order God has brought to me many new leads.

PRAY
One of my mottos is do not underestimate the power of prayer.
For 30 years I have witnessed thousand of answered prayers.
One of the parts of the ministry game plan is to share testimonies online.
While in this dark valley the Holy Spirit has often pointed me to that file.
I long to have the equipment to record phone conversations and post on the web.
Every month I hear of answered prayers and this is a way to share that with others.
Testimonies glorify God and a major testimony will be what does in the near future.

With Christ all things are possible.
Apart from Christ I can do nothing.

Unless the Lord builds the ministry I labor in vain.

Core of Text Base is Finished

July 4, 2006

THANKS for your prayer.

God blessed me with many hours of anointed concentration for the last week.

At long last the core of the text presentation is finished.

And it is ahead of the deadline of midnight.

This is not the whole story.

There could easily be twice as much text.

But that would be beyond the core.

Much will be added in the coming weeks and months.

I have published this on my first wiki.

There is much to learn about making the wiki more attractive and more functional.

In the coming months I will add to the text the diagrams and mind maps.

I will learn about how to add audio and video

Kindly go to the wiki and pray over the wiki.

May God bless and guide the further developments.

Feel free to make comments and make edits.
